Democracy in Latin America Today — Steve Levitsky
Co-sponsored by the Finance and Macro PIC at HKS

The Democracy in Latin America Study Group aims to generate dialogue among the Latin American community so that we can deepen our understanding about the threats to democracy in the region. The study group will explore those challenges by debating different topics, and how they relate to democracies in the region. Such topics include populism, electoral systems, racial relations etc.

Join us for our kick off meeting, Democracy in Latin America Today with Prof. Steve Levitsky. We will meet on Tuesday 12th at 5pm in RG21, Neustadt Room in Rubenstein Building. Every Tuesday we will either invite professors, or organize student led discussions on different topics. Food will be served. Apply before we run out of spaces!
