The 5th Annual Red House Carnival will be a celebration for the Myeloma community and my father’s legacy. In February of 2001, my dad Jeff was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. He was told that his years were numbered, so he began cherishing each day. My siblings and I wanted to do something to help find a cure for the disease that was threatening to take our favorite person. The Wamp Swim successfully funded two research grants in honor of our dad — a feat of which he was most proud.
Over the past four years, The Red House Carnival has been an incredible opportunity to stay connected with the International Myeloma Foundation, which funded research that allowed us 12 fruitful and irreplaceable years with our dad. The IMF works tirelessly to give hope to patients and families. Although my dad’s fight is over, the need for a cure isn’t.
The Red House Carnival will take place on Sunday, October 28 at Aeronaut Brewery from 8-10PM. Your $40 ticket gets you entrance in a water pong tournament, a T-shirt, food, and most importantly fun! Join us for a chance to take home a trophy and get your team’s name on The Stinger Cup!
