The Buddy Walk & Family Festival is MDSC’s signature walk during National Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Over 4,000 individuals with Down syndrome, families, and friends gather at the quaint Wakefield Town Common to promote acceptance and inclusion and to celebrate the Down syndrome community. Celebrities, news anchors, and local heroes help leverage awareness efforts by promoting the Buddy Walk and making live appearances!
(There is an optional 3 or 1.5 mile walk along beautiful Lake Quannapowitt and lunch is available for purchase during online registration.)
